COME BIRDING WITH CBOC

Experience the joys of birdwatching and bird photography, and help support birds and their environment

ABOUT CUMBERLAND BIRD OBSERVERS CLUB

Cumberland Bird Observers' Club (CBOC) is a birdwatching club based in Sydney.  We are a group of recreational birdwatchers and bird photographers.  The club is keen to encourage people to become involved in birdwatching and to support bird conservation initiatives.  Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and have widely different levels of knowledge about birds.

OUR OUTINGS

We have over 40 birdwatching outings a year, plus bus trips and weekends away.  For our younger birders, there are quarterly outings.

These are a great opportunity to visit a wide range of bird habitats in and around Sydney.

No matter whether you are a beginner or an experienced birdwatcher, you will be warmly welcomed on our outings.

OUR MEETINGS

Our monthly meetings are a chance to catch up with other birders. The night includes a Guest Speaker or something of interest to our members, as well as information on outings and upcoming events.

It is a good opportunity to socialize and ask questions.  Come along and join us for a friendly, informative evening.
