Wednesday Warblers - midweek outings
There are twelve Wednesday Warbler outings per year designed for those who can organise a rostered day off on a Wednesday and for those lucky enough to be retired. The outing dates are:

Annangrove/Glenorie
Meet at the junction of Blue Gum and Annangrove Rds, Annangrove.
Target Species: Olive-backed Oriole, Fan-tailed Cuckoo, Golden Whistler, White-throated Treecreeper.
Habitat: Sandstone woodland and creek side flats.
Walking Gradient: Easy walk.

Laughtondale Gully Wisemans Ferry
Meet in Laughtondale Gully Rd, Maroota, at the junction with Old Northern Road.
Target Species: Blue-faced Honeyeater, Rockwarbler, Turquoise Parrot.
Habitat: Varied including rainforest gullies and river flats.
Walking Gradient: Easy walk.

Enter through Strathfield Gate off Centenary Drive, Rookwood and meet in Memorial Drive outside the war cemetery.
Target Species: Red-browed Finch, Jacky Winter, Dusky Woodswallow.
Habitat: Parkland.
Walking Gradient: Easy walk.

Windsor Downs Nature Reserve
At Windsor Downs turn off Richmond Rd into Sanctuary Drive and proceed slowly along this narrow roadway through the roundabout to the far end of the Drive.
Target Species: Scarlet Robin, Speckled Warbler, Painted Button-quail.
Habitat: Ironbark Woodland.
Walking Gradient: Mostly flat, dirt tracks.

Meet in Palmdale Rd, Ourimbah just past the Palmdale Crematorium. For car pooling meet in Dawson Ave, Thornleigh at 8.00am.
Target Species: Regent Bowerbird, Bassian Thrush, White-headed Pigeon.
Habitat: Remnant rainforest.
Walking Gradient: Various but none difficult.

Meet in the car park at the rear of the Hills Entertainment Centre, Carrington Rd, Castle Hill. Wilberforce pickup at the BP Service Station on Putty Rd, North Wilberforce at 8.15am. The bus will not wait for latecomers. Cost $25. Bookings essential phone Janine 9639 2702.
Target Species: Grey-crowned Babbler, Brown Treecreeper, Scarlet Robin and Diamond Firetail.
Habitat: Woodland and open pastures.
